A little about Ray:
Ray earned his Master’s Degree in Vocational Counseling from Mankato State University in 1993. He then spent 30 years working in the Workers' Compensation industry as a Qualified Rehabilitation Counselor and continues to maintain his State and National Certifications. Ray has been a part of the Palmer Bus Service team for over 25 years, starting as an Activities Driver for his children's sports and, for the past 3.5 years, serving as a site manager. In his free time, Ray enjoys spending time with his wife, camping, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, and playing cards. He also treasures time spent with his children and their families. Though his wife says he has too many hobbies, Ray embraces them all with enthusiasm.

Palmer Bus Service has been providing transportation services to the Minnesota Valley Lutheran community since 2003, ensuring the safe transport of approximately 140 students each school day for MVL. Situated just outside of New Ulm, MN, Minnesota Valley Lutheran is a single 9-12 school in Brown County, located approximately 100 miles southwest of the Twin Cities. Established in 1980, MVL offers high-quality Christian education to high school students in the area.

In this partnership with Palmer Bus Service, we have been blessed to work with bus drivers who really seem to enjoy transporting our students to and from school and for activities and events. Our site manager has been responsive to our needs and goes out of his way to work with the various schedules and logistical challenges that come along. The good people who manage and administrate Palmer Bus Service continue to insure that our relationship grows through quality service and excellent customer relations.
