Palmer Bus Service has been providing transportation services to the Mankato community since 1996, safely transporting approximately 2,230 students on a daily basis.
The Mankato School District #77 includes East, West, and Central High Schools, Prairie Winds and Dakota Meadows Middle Schools, and several elementary schools such as Bridges, Eagle Lake, Franklin, Hoover, Jefferson, Kennedy, Monroe, Roosevelt, Rosa Parks, and Washington. Additionally, there are numerous private schools within the district.
Mankato, located in Blue Earth, Nicollet, and Le Sueur counties, is situated approximately 85 miles south of the Twin Cities and ranks as the 22nd largest city in the state of Minnesota.
